Bhavini (Bhavi) Patel

Dr Bhavi graduated at The Royal London Dental Hospital in 2004 and went on to attain a 3 year Masters degree in dental implantology at University of Bristol. Her early years were spent in hospital posts of Oral Surgery, and Maxillofacial Surgery at Guy’s, King’s and St Thomas’s Hospital in London. During this time she had worked in numerous consultant clinics, along with teaching undergraduate dental students.
After gaining valuable hospital based experience in all aspects of surgical dentistry, Dr Bhavi went on to working in private practice, concentrating in aesthetic dentistry and full mouth rehabilitation. Her main focus since then has been to develop her clinical skills by focussing on extensive post-graduate education and self development.

Dr Bhavi has a dedication to improving smiles, and seeing the life transforming impact it has on patients. She has completed multiple postgraduate courses in London, Bristol (UK), Los Angeles, Boston, and Bern (Switzerland), under the training of world leading professors and institutions. She is one of few dental surgeons in Australia to hold a Master’s of Science degree (MSc) in implant dentistry.

Dr Bhavi moved to Melbourne in 2013 with her husband (a medical practitioner), and shortly after went on to become the practice principal of a longstanding practice on Collins Street in Melbourne. She is now a proud mother of a toddler boy. Outside of dentistry, she enjoys sculpture, is an avid follower of the arts and yoga.
